On 22 May 2026, MATE4MEAT was represented at a joint clustering workshop by Project Coordinator Dr Alessandra Piscitelli (University of Naples Federico II) and CIP’s Project Manager, Gabriela Gabriel, responsible for the project’s dissemination.

The MATE4MEAT team presented the project’s full scope to fellow participants, the work carried out so far, the solutions being developed, and the direction ahead. The subsequent Q&A session raised pointed questions on the challenges the project is navigating, met with candid, grounded answers from our coordinator.

The workshop also gave us the opportunity to see live packaging activities from other relevant PRIMA-funded projects, each focused on sustainable, antimicrobial and active packaging solutions for fish, meat and vegetables. We welcome the opportunity this created to establish synergies with these projects, and look forward to inviting their coordinators to our upcoming exploitation workshops.
